EMDR SUPERVISION
I am currently a consultant in training in EMDR and will soon be offering consultation to EMDR therapists and be able to support applications for accreditation. In the meantime I am able to offer EMDR supervision, however these hours cannot be counted towards an accreditation application.
I have extensive experience of using EMDR in a variety of settings and with a variety of presentations including trauma / PTSD / cPTSD, anxiety disorders and depression.
I am particularly keen to support the refugee sector having extensive experience of working with refugees and asylum seekers myself.
ORGANISATIONAL SUPPORT

Providing trauma / mental health education where needed.

Providing advice about risk and safeguarding management, care / support planning.

Staff debriefing - following specific incidents. This can be offered as a whole-team exercise or individual debriefing and support. This could even be trauma-processing if needed using brief EMDR group therapy (GTEP/RTEP)

Staff wellbeing / Counselling service. Supporting staff with the impact of working with marginalised communities, traumatised populations.

Whole team therapeutic / resilience building. Using "Tree of Life" methodology (can be linked to ToL resources)

Clinical Management/Leadership support. Supporting Managers with clinical policy through specialist trauma-informed consultation
