EMDR CONSULTANCY & SUPERVISION
As an Accredited EMDR Consultant, I support other EMDR Practitioners develop their skills, confidence and and clinical practice through professional supervision and consultancy.
I provide a safe and reflective space for practitioners where they can discuss their clinical work, explore complexity in cases, ensuring they are working safely and effective within EMDR.
As an accredited EMDR Consultant I am able to support other EMDR therapists to work towards or maintain Practitioner accreditation and Consultant accreditation.
I have extensive experience of using EMDR in a variety of settings and with a variety of presentations including trauma, PTSD, cPTSD, anxiety disorders and depression.
I am particularly keen to support the refugee sector having extensive experience of working with refugees and asylum seekers myself.
I also offer supervision support to organisations, either 1:1 sessions or group supervision. I can also offer small group supervision i.e. pairs / triads to independent practitioners. Supervision can be delivered in my clinic, via video calls or I am able to travel within the North East of England for organisational or group supervision.

Staff debriefing - following specific incidents. This can be offered as a whole-team exercise or individual debriefing and support. This could even be trauma-processing if needed using brief EMDR group therapy (GTEP/RTEP)

Staff wellbeing / Counselling service. Supporting staff with the impact of working with marginalised communities, traumatised populations.

Whole team therapeutic / resilience building. Using "Tree of Life" methodology (can be linked to ToL resources)

Clinical Management/Leadership support. Supporting Managers with clinical policy through specialist trauma-informed consultation
